Angie Lloyd-Jones

Angie is an advanced ultrasound practitioner and the founder of Aspire Ultrasound Consultancy Services Ltd. She has extensive clinical, managerial, and senior lecturing experience, working for over 30 years within the NHS, the Private Medical sector and for several CASE-accredited higher education institutes.
After diversifying into the Small Animal field of ultrasound at Specialist Referral level, she realised the need to support the Veterinary profession with more robust competency-based ultrasound training and mentorship. She has been instrumental in writing the Small Animal Veterinary Guidelines for Professional Ultrasound Practice, endorsed by the ECVDI, and published by The British Medical Ultrasound Society in December 2022.
Angie has enjoyed working with VVS on a part time basis for several years now as an ultrasound educator and more recently, in a clinical capacity.
